Easycap Usb 2.0 Video Adapter With Audio Driver Download
Nov 07, 2017 A Firewire to USB adapter is used to connect USB and Firewire devices. Most people use a Firewire to USB adapter when they.
Where can I find a USB EMP Audio driver for Windows 7 Professional (64bit)? I have tried Windows Update as well as a web search all to no avail. I am trying to get a USB 2.0 Video Grabber to function on this platform. It works fin under Windows XP but the EMP Audio driver will not load under Windows 7 Professional. The video works fine, but the audio is a no-go because the driver will not load. The application here is to take video (via an RCA cable) from a camcorder and audio (via R/L pair of RCA cables) from a soundboard to record ur church services on DVD.
The computer being used is a laptop. Just because it works on XP is no guarantee it will work on 7, two totally different animals. However I did find this tidbit althogth not very detailed the way I like it. I would uninstall any current EasyCAP software to try the below.

However, did the XP drivers you have, did they have both 64bit and 32bit? Your XP was most likely 32bit (unless you KNOW for a fact you had 64bit XP OS installed). But I'm betting that it only has 32bit drivers and that won't work on your current operating system even if you installed it in XP compatibility mode. So time to do some shopping for new hardware. I know it work with Windows XP because I tried it on a different machine running that OS after I could not get it to work on the new system. I actually have two A/V capture devices that I have tried. The first is a Coolgear USB 2.0 Video Adapter with Audio.
The second is an EasyCAP USB 2.0 Video Adapter with Audio. I can not get the first device to work for sound at all. None of the sound drivers that come with it will load in Windows7. I have even tried compatibility mode changes for this all to no avail.
The second device I can get to work (sort of). The technical support had me run the setup.exe program for loading the driver in VistaSP2 compatibility mode. At this point I update the sound driver for the device to 'USB Audio device' instead of one of the 'USB EMP Audio Device'. I can record video and audio together without an issue. However, if I try to record audio only, the device does not even switch on.
The device has a red LED that indicates when it is on. If I start two programs - one to record MPEG video&audio and another to record just audio, this arrangement works but this seems like a hack more than a solution. I have sent a query to the company I purchased the second device from to see if there is a way to switch on their device when recording audio only. I have yet to hear back. Anybody know of any good utilities to take an MPEG (.mpg) file and convert it into an audio only MP3 (.mp3) file?
