I do realize this topic has been addressed before, I for the most part I feel a lot of it lacks very much detail. To start the dicussion I am going to use the values taken from the video, credit goes to him entirely as the he calculated all of these values. It is one of the best videos that addresses the whole credit grinding issue.
As per the video states that these values are based on a non premium account. Credit incomes are based on a carry game. Time per battle is also addressed in the video. Tier 4 Income 120,000 - Cost 4,000 Tier 5 Income 175,000- Cost 13,000 Tier 5 Premium Income 225,000- Cost 15,000 Tier 6 Income 200,000 - Cost 25,000 Tier 7 Income 225,000 - Cost 50,000 Tier 8 Income 250,000 - Cost 75,000 Tier 8 Premium Income 450,000 - Cost 75,000 These are the values used in the video, however I was hoping you guys would be able to add this this table with a bunch of other tiers, (Tier 4, 6 and 7 Premium) as well as costs for Tiers 9, 10 and possibly the lower tiers. In my experiance I find myself always going to Tier 8 Premium to make money, not only because I find the credits to roll in quite well, but the xp earned to train captains is also greater. My premiums ships I have are the Tirpitz, MK, Atago at Tier 8, Anshan at Tier 6 and Marblehead and Murmansk at Tier 5. While all of them are good are producing income the Anshan seems to be a great choice to produce Free XP with since it has +100% free xp.
The reason I felt the need to create this topic was two reasons a) Despite keeping many ships as I work my way up the lines (the highest ship I have is currently tier 9), I find myself playing premium ships a lot to try and produce income. So if this was fleshed out I would have an idea of the ratio of battles I could grind in higher tier battles (9 and 10 in the future) and get an idea of realistic values. 2) I feel that if this chart was fleshed out it would be extremely useful, especially when you're in lower tier battles for a while playing with friends new to the game. It would also be nice to expand the chart with premium account values. For farming free XP, the Anshan is an absolute beast. The ship itself is decent, basically a higher-tier Gnevny with better torpedoes. But the real kicker is its premium camouflage which grants +100% Free XP earned in addition to the usual bonuses.
I recommend running Papa Papa flags on it, if you have any. For credits, I sadly didn't keep track of my income and profit by ship, but with a premium account, my tier 8 cruisers (Atago and Mikhail Kutuzov) are definitely my tip earners.
Usually, it gives me over 300k credits per match easily, and 500k isn't rare.
Similarly to most free-to-play games, at some point of the game you will start lacking funds for new upgrades, vehicles and equipment. Because of that, it is wise to start saving money since the beginning of the game and avoid spending it on unnecessary things. The easiest way is of course buying the premium account which greatly increases the amount of credits you earn.
Second option is buying one of the premium warships which also have an earning bonus and additionally very small repair costs. However, not everyone wants to spend real money. If you want to avoid spending actual money, then below you will find few tips and advice on how to save yourself from the lack of credits. • Don't sell the ships before developing the next one. • Don't buy premium version of consumables early in the game. They cost around 20,000 credits more than the basic ones. • Don't install any additional equipment on the first ships. It can cost even few hundred thousands of credits. It will be much more profitable to do it on tier V+ ships. Of course, if you like a specific ship and plan to keep it for longer, then this advice doesn't apply to it.
• Play most of the battles on tier V-VI ships. Repair and maintenance costs increase greatly on higher tiers and even an average battle can end with loses. • The best earning ships on lower tiers are: St. Luis, Tenryu, Kuma, Omaha, Furutaka. In general, if you want to earn the most, then select the cruisers.
